functional but nothing special

I was a little disappointed when these measuring tools arrived. Given the price, I didn’t expect finely crafted pieces of art, but I did expect basic, solid and accurate tools. Some of the items just have that “cheap” look to them, especially the plastic tool rollup that they came in. They seem to be functional, and they might suit many people’s needs just fine. I’d like to have a little better made tools that have smoother operation and more precise calibration, so I’ll use them until I can replace them with better tools.
